There are things which one should do for proper digestion and things one must not do to stay healthy. Light food and warm food digests easily. Food taken quickly increase digestion power. Meals should be taken in proper intervals and on time. Let’s have a look upon them –

Symptoms Of Proper Digestion:
  • There will not be any pain in sides and bowels.
  • No stress at heart and smooth respiration.
  • No irritation and itching in the eyes.
  • Proper hunger and thirst.
  • No heaviness in abdomen.
  • Easy laughter.

When To Eat And What To Eat :
  • People who take more than two meals a day should eat light food in any one of their meal.
  • Take food in sufficient quantity. It increases strength and energy.
  • Take food of the best quality. One should focus on their capacity of digestion before eating.
  • Drink lots and lots of water. Drink 1 liter of water with lemon and honey if you like in the morning and add at least 2 liters a day.
  • Clean your tongue with gargle before your meal to give a new relish to your food.
  • Sit like a king after your meal is over. Wait for the food to pass and start digestion process.
  • Take a short walk after your night meal and lie on the left side in bed.

Don’ts
  • Do not take food before and after time. It will reduce your appetite and disturn the digestion process.
  • Dry food like rice and flour causes more difficulty in digestion. Take some liquid with it.
  • Do not drink chilled water.
  • Do not take water an hour before and after your meal.
  • Do not laugh in extreme after your meal. It can cause vomiting.
  • Do not drink water during meals and at the last hour before sleeping.
